One of the goals of sampling systems is to control the temperature of the sample transferred to the analyzer, according to the sample specification and the limitations of the analyzer, requires heating or cooling the sample before entering the analyzer.

Certainly, when sample cooling is mentioned, heat exchangers and their different types have an important role in the sampling system. The following types of heat exchangers can be mentioned:

Electrical cooler

Vortex cooler

Water cooler

When there is no limitation to supply of cooling water on the site, water coolers are the most simplest and practical coolers in sample cooling. This group of coolers are designed and manufactured in two types of shell & tube and tube in tube according to the inlet and outlet temperature of the sample and also the heat capacity.
